Tuna won't appear
Use the Professional Boss Lure for its confirmed dedicated Tuna pool.
Check the Tuna setup →Rocks is a linked boss route: use the Professional Boss Lure for Tuna, preserve and drop the dead Tuna to trigger Albatross, then turn in Albatross Head to unlock Volcano.
THE STEP PEOPLE MISS
Defeating Tuna does not complete Rocks. Preserve its dead body and use it for the Albatross transition before moving on.
Professional Boss Lure → Tuna and Albatross Head → Volcano are internally confirmed. The dead Tuna ground trigger is strong current evidence and is presented with that boundary.
Continue the required route ↓REQUIRED PROGRESSION ONLY
Follow these results in order. Optional catches, Casino activities, collection cleanup, and money routes are intentionally excluded.

DEPENDENCY MAP
Tuna and Albatross are not independent database entries here. The Tuna body is the transition between the two encounters.
01 · FIRST ENCOUNTER · REQUIRED
TUNA REQUIREMENT
The Professional Boss Lure has the internally confirmed dedicated Tuna pool and is the reliable main-route method.
Finish Desert and confirm Island 4 is accessible.
First confirmed from Rocks onward.
Select the Professional Boss Lure and complete the Tuna catch.
Finish the encounter, but do not dispose of the body.
ROCKS ENCOUNTER CHECKER
Check access, lure ownership, and the lure actually in use. The dedicated pool is more authoritative than repeatedly trying unrelated tackle.
TUNA SETUP CHECK
MOST LIKELY BLOCKER
Finish the Desert Pufferfish Fin turn-in and claim the completed quest before preparing the Rocks encounter.
Open the exact requirement →02 · CRITICAL TRANSITION · REQUIRED
KEEP THE TUNA
Tuna defeated → keep the dead body → drop it on Rocks ground.
Current progression evidence strongly identifies the dead Tuna as the AlbatrossSpawner food trigger. Do not treat it like a normal high-value catch until Albatross has triggered.
Continue to Albatross →Evidence note: Strong current progression evidence; the exact serialized Albatross food pointer is not yet internal-confirmed.
03 · SECOND ENCOUNTER · REQUIRED
Complete the Tuna transition first. The Albatross step begins from the defeated Tuna body placed on Island 4 ground.
Use the Professional Boss Lure.
Keep the resulting dead body.
Place the body on Island 4 ground.
Complete the encounter and collect its head.
EXPECTED RESULT
Albatross spawns; after the fight, Albatross Head becomes the confirmed Volcano progression item.
ROCKS TRANSITION CHECKER
Check the Tuna lifecycle in order. “Tuna defeated” and “dead Tuna dropped on Rocks” are separate progression facts.
ALBATROSS SPAWN CHECK
MOST LIKELY BLOCKER
Catch Tuna with the Professional Boss Lure before attempting the second encounter.
Open the exact requirement →FIGHT GUIDE BOUNDARY
Complete the encounter only after the trigger succeeds, then collect Albatross Head. Detailed fight strategy, weapons, multiplayer behavior, and encounter timing stay in the focused Boss guide.
Full Albatross boss guide →POST-BOSS PROGRESSION
The defeat must lead into the Island 5 quest result. Do not leave before collecting and turning in the required drop.
Finish the required Rocks encounter.
Keep the internally confirmed progression drop.
Give the head to quest 9943.
The completed interaction unlocks Island 5.
EXPECTED RESULT
Volcano becomes available after Albatross Head is turned in and the completed Seagull quest interaction is claimed.
This didn't happen →04 · LEAVE · REQUIRED
Volcano is the result of the complete Rocks chain, including both Boss states and the post-Albatross Seagull quest.
ROCKS PROGRESSION CHECKER
Use the saved route facts to stop at the first known missing result. If every known check is complete, move to current-patch troubleshooting.
VOLCANO UNLOCK CHECK
MOST LIKELY BLOCKER
Complete the Tuna encounter before treating the Albatross step as available.
Open the exact requirement →ISLAND 4 EXIT
Confirm the full Tuna transition, Albatross result, and actual Volcano travel state before saving Rocks as complete.
Continue to the Volcano Walkthrough →NEXT · VOLCANO
The normal Bowhead Whale body starts the final mutation sequence.
ROCKS EXIT CHECKLIST
0 / 6 route results
Check a result only after it happens in your run.
OPTIONAL · NOT REQUIRED FOR VOLCANO
Open this for side activities, collection cleanup, and economy detours. None replaces the dead Tuna → Albatross → Head turn-in route.
OPTIONAL EVENTS
These Rocks activities are optional and do not replace any part of the Tuna → Albatross route.
COLLECTION
Clean up optional Rocks catches after the dead Tuna and Albatross progression is secure.
Open guide →ECONOMY
Rocks has valuable catches, but do not sell the Tuna body needed for the Albatross trigger.
Open guide →EXACT ROCKS FIXES
Choose the symptom that matches your run. The Tuna follow-up is intentionally separate from both Boss fights.
Use the Professional Boss Lure for its confirmed dedicated Tuna pool.
Check the Tuna setup →Preserve the dead Tuna and drop it on Rocks ground to continue toward Albatross.
Continue the Tuna follow-up →Catch another Tuna with the Professional Boss Lure, defeat it, and keep the replacement body.
See the recovery step →Verify Tuna is defeated, its body is preserved, and the dead body was dropped on Rocks ground.
Run the Albatross check →Collect Albatross Head, give it to the Seagull NPC, and claim the completed quest.
Check the post-fight steps →The Albatross Head turn-in and completed Seagull quest interaction are required.
Run the Volcano unlock check →
